New  employment opportunities with the NCAA Eligibility Center!

The Association recently announced the creation of the NCAA Eligibility Center. The Center will have responsibility for initial eligibility and amateurism functions currently performed at the Initial Eligibility Clearinghouse managed by the ACT. In addition, the Center will place significant emphasis on enhanced service and education to the membership, prospective student-athletes and their parents on NCAA programs, services and educational initiatives.

The Center will house an estimated 70 employees and is led by Todd Leyden and a Leadership Team of five directors. Director positions are expected to be finalized in February with additional staff added over the coming months as the Center anticipates assuming full responsibility for these functions by November 1, 2007.
