The online version allows coaches to take the test via the Internet and features automatic timing, automatic scoring, instant feedback and the ability for conferences to track online test scores for all coaches at their institutions. It is important to note that this is simply a new way to take the exam and view results. All of the guidelines for administering the paper NCAA Coaches Certification Test apply to the administration of the online version of the test.
Another feature of the online version of the NCAA Coaches Certification Test is its ability to interact with the Compliance Assistant internet (CAi). If an institution is using the CAi system and has entered information regarding its coaches, the names of the institution's coaches will be carried over to the NCAA Coaches Certification Test. Additionally, once a coach passes the test, the CAi screen for that coach will indicate that the coach has passed the test.
