Division I Regional Leadership Conference
The midwest region hosted the second pilot regional leadership conference in October 2005and was an overwhelming success! It's time for the Northeast region to host the next pilot conference in October 2006. By attending the conference, your institutional or conference office team will enhance their leadership skills and develop a plan to positively affect your campus or conference. Attendees participate in numerous educational sessions which impact the development and growth of the student-athlete experience at your campus or within your conference. Sessions offering a greater understanding of the NCAA, Division I, Division I national Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and other critical issues like sportsmanship and NCAA legislation affecting student-athletes allow participants to explore how to serve an active role, as an agent of change, in these critical topics. Returning to their campus or working within their conference, participants use the knowledge gained at the conference to implement a project to create positive and lasting change. So come join us for a FREE, fun and leadership-packed weekend this fall!
