The meeting was called to order by the chair, President Lawless.  All members were present as noted above.

 

 

1.         Selection of NCAA president-elect.

 

            It was VOTED

 

            “By a unanimous decision that Myles Brand be offered the NCAA presidency, effective January 1, 2003.”

 

 

2.         Terms and conditions of the offer.

 

It was VOTED

 

“That Dr. Brand be offered a five-year contract with the terms and conditions as discussed.”

 

 

3.      Adjournment.  The meeting adjourned following the decision pertaining to terms and conditions.
