3. Mascot appeals to Executive Committee.
Anticipated Actions. In
executive session, review materials submitted by the institutions, the presidential
bodies and staff to determine whether Bradley University and the University of
North Dakota should be retained on the list of colleges and universities
subject to restrictions on the use of Native American mascots, names and
imagery at NCAA championships.

President’s report.
a. Committee reduction report. (Information)
Informational. Receive an
oral report regarding the Association’s progress since the Executive
Committee charged NCAA president to examine ways
to reduce NCAA committee expenditures and enhance efficiencies.
b. College of William and Mary nickname review. (Action) [Supplement No. 4]
Anticipated Action.
Approve a review of the College of William and Mary nickname by the NCAA
staff review committee to determine if the institution should be on the list of
colleges and universities subject to restrictions on the use of Native American
mascots, names and imagery at NCAA championships.

Anticipated Actions.
Actions will be taken to approve 2004-05 and 2005-06 NCAA financial
statements, as well as approve uses of unallocated net assets.

an oral report on the success of the NCAA Centennial kick-off at the 2006 NCAA
Convention.

approve future NCAA Convention dates/sites and to approve a recommendation from
