SUBJECT: Appointments to the Division I Board of Directors.

Below are the conference recommendations for the Board of Directors, with terms beginning at the conclusion of the April 2008 Board of Directors meeting.

? Big Sky Conference: F. Ann Millner, president, Weber State University.

? Mountain West Conference: David Schmidly, president, University of New Mexico.

? West Coast Conference: (Rev.) E. William Beauchamp, president, University of Portland.

The Board will meet the legislated gender and diversity requirements. The Board will include one ethnic minority member and three female members. The attached chart illustrates the composition of the Board of Directors effective April 2008.
