The committee noted that the Olympic Sports Liaison Committee met with representatives from USA Swimming, USA Field Hockey, USA Volleyball, and U.S. Bowling Congress, USA Cycling, USA Wrestling, USA Water Polo and U.S. Team Handball; however, a representative from the fencing community was not included.  The committee requests that the Olympic Sports Liaison Committee include a fencing representative in the future in order to discuss the needs of fencing.

b.       Championships Qualifications.  The committee agreed that the NCAA regional champion should be automatically considered for the championships.  If the institution has more than two qualifiers it will be an institutional decision as to who will be recommended.
