SUBJECT: Division I Cabinet appointments.

Attached are the following materials for your review for cabinet appointments:

· Division I Cabinet Requirements chart. (Attachment A)

· Division I Academics/Eligibility/Compliance Cabinet. (Attachment B)

· Division I Championship and Competition Cabinet. (Attachment C)

Attachment A is a chart identifying positional, gender and diversity requirements for the two cabinets. The Football Championship Subdivision and the Division I Subdivision meet all legislated requirements.

The Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) has not yet met the legislated diversity requirement for both cabinets and also has not met the director of athletics positional requirement for the Academics/Eligibility/Compliance cabinet. There is one at-large position remaining to be filled by the FBS on the Academics/Eligibility/Compliance Cabinet. The FBS conference commissioners are currently working through the selection for this position.
