The meeting was called to order Monday, October 16 at 8 a.m. by the chair, Ms. Hickey. All members noted above were present.
1. Opening remarks. Kate Hickey, as chair, acknowledged and
welcomed McKinley Boston,
2. Report from the Championships/Competition Cabinet. NCAA staff liaison Dave Schnase presented the cabinet’s report from its June 27-28 and September 19-20 Championships/Competition Cabinet meetings.
3. Report from the Academics/Eligibility/Compliance Cabinet. Jacqueline Blackett, chair of the Academics/Eligibility/Compliance Cabinet, along with NCAA liaisons Lynn Holzman and Julie Cromer, presented the cabinet’s report from its June 14-16 and September 6-8 meetings.
4. Report from the Committee on Academic Performance (CAP). NCAA staff members, Julie Cromer, Diane Dickman and Bill Regan presented the report of the Committee on Academic Performance’s ongoing work.
5. Adjournment. Ms. Hickey adjourned the meeting at 5:15 p.m. on Monday, October 16, 2006.
