MINUTES OF THE

NCAA DIVISION III ADMINISTRATIVE COMMITTEE CONFERENCE NO. 3

Those participating were Susan Bassett, Division III Management Council vice-chair; Marcia Kierscht, Division III Management Council; Bette Landman, Division III Presidents Council chair; John McCardell, Division III Presidents Council vice-chair; Christopher Walker, Division III Management Council chair; Dan Dutcher, NCAA; and Bridget Belgiovine, NCAA, recording secretary.

Acting for the Division III Management Council and Presidents Council, the Administrative Committee:

1. Approved the request for a waiver of NCAA Bylaw 21.8.1.1.1, in accordance with Bylaw 21.8.1.1.3, to allow Pam Wojnar to retain her position on the NCAA Division III Women’s Basketball Committee through the March 15-16, 2002, NCAA Division III Women’s Basketball Championship. On February 25, Ms. Wojnar took a position at an institution in a region other than the Mid-Atlantic region. Ms. Wojnar will be replaced on the Women’s Basketball Committee after the 2002 championship.

2. Approved the recommendation to appoint the following individuals to fill immediate vacancies on Division III Student-Athlete Advisory Committee:

a. Jami Goldman, California State University, Hayward (term expiration: September 2003).

b. Timothy Rausch, DePauw University (term expiration: September 2004).
