NCAA DIVISION III ADMINISTRATIVE COMMITTEE CONFERENCE NO. 4

Acting for the Division III Management Council and Presidents Council, the Administrative Committee:

Approved the recommendation of the Division III Membership Committee to require Transylvania University, at its expense, to attend an informational meeting at the NCAA national office and one of the three 2002 NCAA Regional Seminars as a penalty for failing to be represented by an athletics administrator at a mandatory session during the 2002 NCAA Convention. [NOTE: The president of Transylvania attended the CEO session, but no representative from Transylvania attended the required athletics administrator session. Instead, the director of athletics mistakenly attended the institution’s conference meeting.]
