NCAA DIVISION III ADMINISTRATIVE COMMITTEE CONFERENCE NO. 1

 

 

Those participating were Suzanne Coffey, Division III Management Council chair; Douglas Hastad, Division III Management Council; John McCardell, Division III Presidents Council chair; Michael Miranda, Division III Management Council vice-chair; Phil Stone, Division III Presidents Council vice-chair; Dan Dutcher, NCAA; and Bridget Belgiovine, NCAA, recording secretary.

Acting for the Division III Management Council and Presidents Council, the Administrative Committee:

 

1.         Division III Convention-Planning Subcommittee.  Approved the expansion, term limits and appointment of five individuals to serve on the subcommittee.  Expansion will include regional representation; constituent representation; administrative position representation; and established three-year maximum term limits for at-large, commissioner and independent representatives.  (Note:  All other subcommittee representatives serve in conjunction to a specific Council or committee term.)

 

The Division III Convention-Planning Subcommittee composition consists of 16 members.  The goal is to include broad membership representation including constituent group, region and administrative position diversity.  Term limits are staggered with a maximum of three years for at-large representatives.
