NCAA DIVISION III ADMINISTRATIVE COMMITTEE CONFERENCE NO. 8

Those participating were Michael Miranda, Division III Management Council chair; Douglas Hastad, Division III Management Council; Phillip Stone, Division III Presidents Council chair; Sandra Slabik, Division III Management Council vice-chair; Ivory Nelson, Division III
Presidents Council vice-chair; Dan Dutcher, NCAA; and Bridget Belgiovine, NCAA, recording
secretary.

[NOTE: The following action occurred November 28, 2005.]

Acting for the Division III Management Council and Presidents Council, the Administrative Committee approved the recommendations for vacancies on the following committees:

1. NCAA Division III Financial Aid Committee (two immediate vacancies).

· Dennis Hefner, president, State University College at Fredonia, replacing Phillip Creighton, president, Pacific University.

· David Ellis, president, Newbury College. [NOTE: This position is a result of the adoption of noncontroversial legislation to eliminate the legislated requirement for a student-athlete representative.]

2. Division III Membership Committee (two January 2006 vacancies resulting from two
current members being appointed to the Management Council).

· Mark Majeski, director of athletics, Williamette University.

· Christopher Ragsdale, director of athletics, University of La Verne.
