NCAA DIVISION III ADMINISTRATIVE COMMITTEE CONFERENCE NO. 1

Those participating were Val Cushman, Division III Management Council chair; John Fry, Division III Presidents Council chair; Kevin McHugh, Division III Management Council vice chair; Jack Ohle, Division III Management Council and Paul Trible, Division III Presidents Council vice chair; Dan Dutcher, NCAA; Leah Nilsson, NCAA; and Debbie Kresge, NCAA, recording secretary.

Acting for the Division III Management Council and Presidents Council, the Administrative Committee approved the recommendations for appointments to the following committees:

· Division III Baseball Committee. Mid-Atlantic region: Christopher McKnight, associate director of athletics/head baseball coach, Frostburg State University. Midwest region: Gary Karner, commissioner, Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.

· Division III Men’s Basketball Committee. Mid-Atlantic region: David Martin, director of athletics, College Misericordia. South region: Patrick Cunningham, men’s basketball coach, Trinity University (Texas).

· Division III Women’s Basketball Committee. Great Lakes region: Roger Ingles, director of athletics, Ohio Wesleyan University.

· Division III Football Committee. Christopher Smith, head football coach, Grove City College.

· Division III Women’s Golf Committee. Reappoint Michael Wagner, Illinois Wesleyan University. Appoint Eva Dean Folkert, women’s director of athletics/women’s golf coach, Hope College.

· Women’s Gymnastics Committee. Reappoint Paul Plinske, University of Wisconsin, Whitewater.

· Division III Women’s Ice Hockey Committee. ECAC East: Cheryl Aaron, assistant director of athletics, University of Massachusetts, Boston.

· Division III Women’s Lacrosse Committee. South Atlantic region: Scott Musa, assistant director of athletics, Shenandoah University.

· Division III Rowing Committee. Reappoint Paul Wilkins, Chapman University.

· Division III Men’s Soccer Committee. Mid-Atlantic region: Girish Thakar, head men’s and women’s soccer coach, Westminster College (Pennsylvania).

· Division III Softball Committee. Reappoint Anita Kubicka, Montclair State University.

· Division III Men’s and Women’s Swimming and Diving Committee. Nancy Bigelow, women’s swimming coach, Tufts University; and Betsy Mitchell, director of athletics and recreation, Allegheny College.

· Division III Men’s Tennis Committee. West region: Danny Powell, executive athletics director, Hendrix College.

· Division III Men’s and Women’s Track and Field Committee. Reappoint Jennifer Potter, Ithaca College; and Chuck Wilcoxen, Principia College.

· Division III Women’s Volleyball Committee. Midwest region: Karen Kunka, compliance coordinator/head volleyball coach, North Central College. West region: Rick Swan, head women’s volleyball coach, Colorado College.

· Women’s Water Polo Committee (immediate vacancy). Brian Streeter, director of athletics, Pennsylvania State University, Eric, the Behrend College.

· Division III Wrestling Committee. Midwest region: Jeff Swenson, assistant dean for athletics and recreation, Augsburg College.

· Baseball Rules Committee. Reappoint Eric Etchison, Maryville College (Tennessee).

· Men’s Basketball Rules Committee. John M. Thompson, director of athletics/head basketball coach, North Carolina Wesleyan College.

· Women’s Lacrosse Rules Committee. Reappoint Christine Paradis, Amherst College.

· Men’s and Women’s Soccer Rules Committee. Leslie Poolman, director of athletics, Dickinson College.
