MINUTES OF THE
NCAA DIVISION III ADMINISTRATIVE COMMITTEE CONFERENCE NOS. 1, 2 AND 3
Those participating were Thomas Courtice, chair, Division III Presidents Council; Bette Landman, vice-chair, Division III Presidents Council; Oscar Page, vice-chair, Division III Management Council; Joy Reighn, chair, Division III Management Council; Christopher Walker, Division III Management Council; Dan Dutcher, NCAA; and Bridget Belgiovine, NCAA, recording secretary.
[NOTE: The following actions occurred via facsimile on February 9, 21 and 22, 2001, but are reported here for ease of reference.]
Acting for the Division III Management Council and Presidents Council, the Administrative Committee:
1. Approved the recommendation to appoint Donna Ledwin, commissioner, New Jersey Athletic Conference, to fill an immediate vacancy on the Division III Nominating Committee. Ms. Ledwin's term will expire January 2005.
2. Approved the recommendation to appoint Gary Karner, commissioner, Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, to the Division III Amateurism Task Force.
3. Approved the recommendation to fill two immediate vacancies on the Division III Management Council:
a. Robert Malekoff, director of athletics, College of Wooster (North Coast Conference) -- term expiration January 2004.
b. Marcia Kierscht, president, Stephens College (independent) -- term expiration January 2003 (eligible for reelection).
