This committee has been charged to meet, as necessary, to hear and adjudicate major infractions cases.  Since there have been no Division III major infractions since the inception of the new governance structure, it is unlikely that there will be such infractions cases during 2002-03.  However, with the implementation of new compliance practices in Division III, it has been speculated that infractions cases may result.  This is not a certainty and therefore, it is difficult, if not impossible, to predict the meeting frequency of this committee.  The committee would meet on an “as needed” basis rather than a set schedule.
