Division III member institutions and conferences now have access to the Getting in the Game web site.
The web site includes various chapters for many Division III audiences. For example, the web site will assist you in the review of the student-athlete's regulations concerning eligibility ("NCAA Summary of Regulations") with information covering sports wagering, amateurism, financial aid, academic standards and other rules concerning eligibility for intercollegiate athletics. Additionally, student-athletes will have the opportunity to learn more about the NCAA and Division III in a brief segment presented by NCAA Division III Student-Athlete Advisory Committee members. The student-athlete reinstatement chapter, "On the Sidelines," will allow student-athletes to view informative video segments regarding their athletics eligibility.
Your coaches will also benefit from viewing the "Coaches Corner" which includes a tutorial on NCAA rules. You are further encouraged to share the web site with the appropriate audience focusing on the role of the faculty athletics representative, the role of the senior woman administrator and creating an effective student-athlete advisory committee.
