The telephone conference was called to order at 10:10 a.m. Central time. All members were present as noted above.

1. Announcements. There were no announcements.

2. Review of Membership-Sponsored Proposals for the 2003 NCAA Convention. The committee reviewed the four proposals submitted by the NCAA Division III membership to be voted on at the 2003 NCAA Convention. The committee recommended a revision to the rationale statement of Proposal No. 1-12 (Playing and Practice Seasons -- Noncollegiate Amateur Competition -- Basketball).

3. Adjournment. The teleconference adjourned at 10:40 a.m.
