2003 CONVENTION TIMELINE

 

 

April                       Subcommittee conference call to review 2002 Convention questionnaire and discuss tentative 2003 schedule.

                             

                              Preliminary Division III schedule forwarded to Management Council and Presidents Council.

 

 

May/June               Subcommittee conference call to develop programs/session topics and forward to Management Council/Presidents Council.

 

 

July/August             Recommendations reviewed and approved by Management and Presidents Councils.

 

October 16            Preparation meeting with staff liaisons.

 

 

October 21-31 Management and Presidents Councils final review of schedule/programs.

 

 

Early Nov.              Subcommittee conference call to review Management Council/Presidents Council action related to program/session recommendations; discuss involvement and communication with affiliated groups and committee structure.

 

November 4-8 Communicate with affiliate groups, committee structure and staff liaisons.

 

 

December 6 Outline/content of presentation, identification of participants first draft of legislative position papers due.

 

 

December 13 Draft of multimedia presentation due.

 

 

December 16-20 Subcommittee conference call – status update; preparation of presentation outline/content by committee structure and affiliate groups.

 

 

December  20 Final draft of remarks, legislative position papers and Division III Web site posting due.
