This
committee has been charged to meet, as necessary, to hear and adjudicate
major infractions cases involving Division III institutions. In December, 2002 the first Division III
major infractions case since the inception of the new governance structure
was heard by the committee. With the
implementation of new compliance practices in Division III, it has been
speculated that additional infractions cases may result. But, this is not a certainty and
therefore, it is difficult, if not impossible, to predict the meeting
frequency of this committee. The
committee meets on an ?as needed? basis rather than a set schedule. |
