1.         INFORMATIONAL ITEMS.

 

a.         Summary of cases.  From August 16, 2004, through February 18, 2005, the NCAA Division III Management Council Administrative Review Subcommittee and the NCAA membership services staff reviewed 25 cases; the subcommittee granted three and the staff granted 12.  Four cases were denied by the subcommittee and six were denied by the staff (Attachment).

b.                  Future meeting.  The subcommittee will be reviewing staff decisions and appealed decisions, in addition to some potential legislative proposals on its May 5 conference call which will be reported at the July 2005 Management Council meeting.
