2004-05 DIVISION III STUDENT-ATHLETE ADVISORY COMMITTEE

 

Composition:

Twenty-four members, including one student-athlete from each of the Division III Student-Athlete Advisory Committee conferences represented in the partnership program and four members from Division III independent institutions representing each of the four geographical regions per Constitution 4.12.1  12 males, 12 females, six ethnic minorities.  No more than one S-A from same playing conference; two student-athletes shall serve as Management Council representatives (must have at least one year prior service on SAAC) terms for Management Council representatives may be extended to January to be consistent with Management Council terms; in addition there will be two ex officio Management Council members (not included in the total of 24). Terms will be three years. S-As can serve one year after eligibility has been exhausted.

Vacancies:

Nine September 2005 vacancies.  Six appointees must be male.  Three appointees must be female.  One appointee must be an ethnic minority.
