Presidents Council Grouping – Proposal Nos. 1-20

General Notes – The Presidents Council (PC) has identified 20 proposals of particular interest to Division III Chief Executive Officers (CEOs). Thus, these proposals are included in the PC grouping. Each proposal will be considered by roll call vote. All motions and votes related to these proposals also must be considered by roll call.

4	Roll call vote.	If Proposal No. 3 is adopted, Proposal No. 4 becomes moot.
5	Roll call vote. Sponsors have withdrawn this proposal.

8	Roll call vote.	If Proposal No. 7 is adopted, Proposal 8 becomes moot.
9	Roll call vote. Possible motion to divide sections A, B, C, and D. Not debatable, majority required.
10	Roll call vote. Sponsors have withdrawn this proposal. Possible motion to divide (remove sections B, C and D for separate vote) could be ruled out of order. Motion to divide likely would be opposed. Not debatable, majority required.
11	Roll call vote.
12	Roll call vote. Probable motion to refer proposal to the Executive Committee’s working group to address Division II and III membership issues. Debatable, majority vote. Because Executive Committee has determined that a membership cap is an Association-wide issue, the proposal appears to be out of order. Motion to sustain ruling of chair is debatable. Tie vote sustains chair.

13*	Roll call vote. Possible motion to divide sections A and B. Motion to divide would be ruled out of order, since section B is contingent on section A. Motion to divide would be opposed.	Applies on a more limited basis and with a later effective date so is not affected by Proposal No. 15.	Would apply to existing bids on an institutional basis.
14*	Roll call vote.	Addresses only new conferences, so is not affected by Proposal Nos. 13 B or 15.	Would apply to new (not existing) bids on an institutional basis.
15*	Roll call vote.	Applies on a broader basis and with an earlier effective so is not affected by Proposal No. 13 B.	Would apply to existing conference bids on a sport-specific (and institutional) basis.
16	Roll call vote.
17	Roll call vote. Possible motion to divide section AA for separate vote.
18	Roll call vote. Sponsors have withdrawn this proposal.
