Dear Division III Management Council Reps:
Below you will find the e-mail that allows you to register for the 2007
NCAA Convention. Our first meeting in
Many of you are 'old hat' at this, but here's a refresher just in case:
1. When you begin the online registration process, indicate that you are a Division III member and that you are completing a new registration. You will then have the option of choosing "Management Council" as your category. DO NOT select "Delegate," even if you are the voting delegate from your institution. The Management Council designation takes priority for you.
2. If you indicated that you are a Management Council representative, the next screen should prompt you to enter a password. This year's password is 'student-athlete'--DO NOT SHARE THIS PASSWORD WITH OTHER INSTITUTIONAL REPRESENTATIVES. It is for our Management Council members only and lets the system know that your registration, flights and hotel are complimentary.
3. Please note that hotel reservations will be accepted ONLY through the online system. As a member of the Division III Management Council, your room and tax for Thursday, January 4, through Monday, January 8, will be charged to the NCAA master account. Please indicate your hotel preference as the Gaylord Palms--that will be the primary Convention headquarters hotel. WE WILL NOT BE SENDING A SEPARATE ROOM-RESERVATION FORM. YOU NEED TO SECURE YOUR ROOM ONLINE THROUGH THE REGISTRATION PROCESS.
4. You can reserve your flights either online or by calling the toll-free number for Short's Travel at 866/655-9215. As mentioned above, your flights will be billed to the NCAA master account.
5. You will need to enter credit card information (this will be for incidentals charged to your room or extra tickets to Convention functions), after which you will be prompted to enter a Username and Password. Please create one that you will remember--you will need these if, at a later date, you decide that you need to update your registration.
I believe that if you read the above information and follow the directions below and online, you will be able to register with minimal difficulty. Please let me know if you have questions!

(A $250 early registration rate is available to individuals representing a non-member.) Registration fees submitted after November 13 will be $275 per delegate and $350 per non-member. Current college students and 2006 college graduates may attend Convention for $25 per person with a valid Student ID from either the 2005-06 or 2006-07 school year.
