1. Strategic Initiatives Grant Program.

The subcommittee reviewed and approved the final documents related to the 2006-07 Division III Strategic Initiatives Grant Program and materials for membership mailing.

3. Division III Student-Athlete Leadership Conference. Attached is a review of leadership conference goals, attendee history, plans for 2006-07 eligible regions, registration information and marketing efforts on continued promotion of the initiative. [Attachment H]

4. 2005-06 Strategic Initiatives Summary. A summary update of the 2005-06 mid-year budget and program status is attached for review. It should be noted that effective 2006-07, the only programs that will remain under NCAA national office oversight are: NAD3AA partnership ($49,500); Women and Minority Internship Grant ($720,000); SWA Enhancement NACWAA/Hers Institute ($45,000); Strategic Alliance Matching Grant Program ($880,200); and Student-Athlete Leadership Conferences ($500,000).
