ITEM OF INFORMATION

ISSUE:		Drug-Testing Consent Form.
Committee Action:
	The NCAA general counsel has reviewed and approved the new language in the drug-testing consent form authorizing the laboratories? use of urine samples for purposes of improving detection methods of banned drugs. This review was a Division I Championships/Competition Cabinet requirement for approval of the committee's recommendation to add the new language to the drug-testing consent form.

	Accepted the information.
