Adopt noncontroversial legislation to
amend Bylaw 21.8.6.6.1 to increase the number of Financial Aid and Awards
Committee members from nine to 11, and that the additional two members each
be financial aid administrators.
This recommendation is contingent on the adoption of an annual
financial aid reporting process at the 2004 NCAA Convention.

The committee was provided with a legislative update pertaining to Bylaw 15.4.3 (written offer of aid) and Bylaw 15.4.10 (membership reclassification) and supported that changes that were made via editorial revision and noncontroversial legislation, respectively. |

Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (NASFAA). |

Committee Action: |

|
The committee discussed the information and materials to be presented at the July convention of the NASFAA. The committee agreed to put information on the NASFAA Web site and place a message on the NASFAA listserve directing financial aid administrators to the Web site prior to the convention. |
