ITEMS OF INFORMATION

1. ISSUE:		Proposal No. M-1 – Membership Reclassification to Division III (Constitution 3.6.1.2.2).
Committee Recommendation:
	Amend Constitution 3.6.1.2.2 to clarify that any NCAA Division I or II provisional member that reclassifies to NCAA Division III is subject to the Division III membership requirements adopted during the 2002 NCAA Convention.
Management Council Action:
Previously approved the intent-based modification.
2. ISSUE:		Proposal No. M-2 – Recruiting — Definition of Contact (Bylaw 13.02.2).
Committee Recommendation:
	Amend Bylaw 13.02.2 to clarify that only institutional athletics department staff members are subject to the definition of a contact.
Management Council Action:
Previously approved the intent-based modification.
