PRESIDENTS COUNCIL NOMINATIONS SUBCOMMITTEE

Immediate Vacancies.
l Recommendation. Ratify the immediate appointments:
(a) Dale
Knobel, president, Denison University.
Term expiration January 2006.
(b) John
Fry, president, Franklin & Marshall College. Term expiration January 2005, eligible for reappointment.

2004 Vacancies.
(1) Recommendation. Ratify the slate of nominees to fill January
2004 vacancies (two reappointments and two new vacancies). Term expiration: January 2008. [Note: A mail ballot of the slate of nominees will be distributed
to all Division III chief executive officers in September.]
(a) Carlos
Hernandez, president, Jersey City University. Reappointment.
(b) Jane
Margaret O’Brien, president, St. Mary’s College of Maryland. Reappointment.
(c) Peggy
Williams, president, Ithaca College.
(d) To
be determined.
(2) Rationale. All legislated requirements for the
NCAA Division III Presidents Council are currently met.
