Review the November membership communication document, noting that it
was reprinted in the December Division III Newsletter and will be distributed
and discussed at the 2003 NCAA Convention Division III Forum Sunday, January

Reviewed the November communication document, noting its support for
continued updates and the involvement of chief executive officers (CEOs) in
the dialogue. |

2. ISSUE: |
Membership Visits. |

Management Council Recommendation: |
|
|
Review the executive summary of feedback from the membership visits
along with the chart of visits, as amended.
It was noted that to date more than 600 Division III constituents have
had the opportunity for input on the issue.

create a more meaningful experience to engage CEOs. c. To
create a subcommittee of CEOs to assist in designing a schedule to encourage
CEO attendance. d. To
plan for a meeting of CEOs, with financial assistance, to attend in concert
with Mellon Foundation in the fall of 2003. l Encourage
President Brand to assist with engagement of CEOs at various higher education
association meetings to enhance and encourage involvement with NCAA
Convention attendance. |
