ITEM OF INFORMATION

ISSUE:	Petition for Waiver by NCAA Bylaw 14.1.7.2.13.
Subcommittee Action:
The subcommittee denied a request from Washington University to waive the 60-day limit for NCAA championships that begin subsequent to a student-athlete?s final term. In its denial of the waiver request, the subcommittee noted the NCAA Division III Management Council?s recommendation from its October 1999 meeting to adhere strictly to the 60-day legislation criterion.
