Summary of Cases. 

Subcommittee Action:

 

From June 2, 2003, through August 31, 2003, the subcommittee and staff reviewed 10 cases:  The subcommittee granted three, and the staff granted two.  Five cases were denied by the subcommittee.  The following NCAA bylaws were cited in the 10 cases:

 

·            Bylaw 13.12.2.3 (local sports club).

·            Bylaw 14.2.4.1 (minimum amount of competition).

·            Bylaw 14.5 (transfer regulations).

·            Bylaw 16.6.1.1.1 (immediate family member of student-athlete).

·            Bylaw 17.5.3 (men’s basketball first contest).

·            Bylaw 17.25.2 (men’s tennis – preseason practice).

·            Bylaw 17.27.2 (women’s volleyball – preseason practice).
