Division I Women's Volleyball Committee Duties & Responsibilities
COMMITTEE INFORMATION FOR INDIVIDUALS INTERESTED IN POSSIBLY SERVING ON NCAA COMMITTEES

CHAMPIONSHIP DATES AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES/NUMBER OF DAYS YOU ARE REQUIRED TO ATTEND:
Attend the entire DI Women's Volleyball Championship week (arriving Tuesday evening and leaving Sunday morning). The championship is held the third Thursday and Saturday in December.
Attend selected preliminary rounds. There are 16 first and second round sites and 4 regional sites. Committee members usually arrive early Wednesday to attend practices and leave after the matches on Saturday or early Sunday. Committee member acts as the NCAA representative at these rounds. First and second round matches start the first weekend in December.

NUMBER OF CONFERENCE CALLS PER YEAR:
Committee members are required to participate on six regional advisory committee calls and six national committee calls (biweekly in September through November) prior to selection. The regional calls are generally on Tuesday. The national calls are on Wednesday.
Committee members also participate on two Sunday conference calls during the preliminary rounds.
