NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Recruiting Calendar

August 1, 2007 - July 31, 2008

The dates in this calendar reflect the application of Bylaw 30.10 at the time of publication but are subject to change per Constitution 5.2.3.1 or if certain dates change (e.g., National Letter of Intent signing dates) are altered.


(a)     August 1 through September 8, 2007:


Quiet Period


(b)     September 9 through October 5, 2007:
          All live evaluations during the academic year (except during
          the April contact period) shall be limited regularly scheduled 
          high school, preparatory school and two-year college
          contests/tournaments, practices and regular scholastic
          activities involving student-athletes enrolled only at that
          institution):


Contact Period


(c)     October 6, 2007, through March 31, 2008, [except for 
          (1), (2) and (3) below]:
          All live evaluations during the academic year (except during
          the April contact period) shall be limited to regularly scheduled 
          high school, preparatory school and two-year college
          contests/tournaments, practices and regular scholastic
          activities involving student-athletes enrolled only at that
          institution):

(d)     The month of April 2008 [except for (1) and (2) below]: 
          All live evaluations during the April contact period 
          are limited to events that are approved, sanctioned,
          sponsored or conducted by the applicable state high school,
          preparatory school or two-year college association, National
          Federation of High School Associations or the National
          Junior College Athletic Association and may occur at sites
          other than the prospect's educational institution  only on
          Saturday and/or Sunday, and not on any weekend during 
          which the PSAT, SAT, PLAN or ACT national standardized tests
          are administered.  In addition, evaluations are permissible at a
          prospect's educational institution only in conjunction with
          an off-campus contact.
