A senior at Hunter College, Mike is a member of the Hawk cross country and track and field teams. A three-time captain of the track and field squad, Mike holds a championship title and conference record in the weight throw with a mark of 14.05 meters.

During his tenure at Hunter, Mike has been a member of CUNYAC championship teams in both cross country and indoor and outdoor track and field. His personal best in the hammer throw is 130 feet, 7 inches and in the discus it is 107-10.  

Success starts in the classroom for Mike, who carries a 3.2 grade point average and earned a spot on the Dean's List the fall semester of 2003. Also on campus, Mike served as a resident assistant, SAAC co-president and is an active member of the Hunter College Student Government Association. 

Not only is Mike active on campus, but he serves in his community as well. Mike worked this past summer as a lifeguard at a Nassau County (N.Y.) community pool.
